Build self-aware leaders and teams who know how to work together
Insights Discovery is a scientifically validated personality assessment that helps individuals and teams understand how they prefer to think, communicate, and work, and how those differences shape collaboration, leadership, and performance.
Insights Discovery creates a shared language that makes it easier to have better conversations, reduce friction, and work together with intention.
Waypoint Labs delivers Insights Discovery with clarity, care, and practical application, so insight doesn’t stop at awareness.
What Is Insights Discovery?
Insights Discovery is a psychometric assessment grounded in the psychology of Carl Jung and built around a simple, memorable four-color model.
Each person receives a personalized profile that explores:
- Communication preferences
- Decision-making style
- Strengths and potential blind spots
- How they operate under pressure
- What they value in work and relationships
Rather than putting people in boxes, it helps people understand their natural preferences and how to flex them.
Is Insights Discovery Valid?
Yes, and the evidence is published.
- Grounded in established psychology. Built on the work of Carl Jung and his student Dr. Jolande Jacobi.
- Highly reliable. In a 2019 analysis of 393,000 completed evaluators (English version), all four color energies scored between 0.91 and 0.92 on Cronbach’s alpha, a standard reliability measure where 0.70 is the accepted minimum.
- Measures what it claims to. A factor analysis of the same data confirmed the model’s structure: opposite color energies behave as opposites, just as the model predicts.
- Continuously refined. Insights has tested and refined the evaluator for more than two decades, across 30+ languages.

- Management: how a leader’s style affects the people they lead, and how they like to manage and be managed.
- Effective Selling: how salespeople can use their natural style to connect and influence.
